Renta Group names new fleet director

Finland-based Renta Group has appointed Fredrik Svanestrand as its new fleet director.

Svanestrand, who assumes the role in January 2024, joins the company from Nordic-Baltic banking group Swedbank, where he was most recently the head of financial products and corporate banking.

He also brings experience within the rental industry, having spent seven years with Ramirent Group, six of which he served as head of group sourcing.

He has also held roles within OEMs such as Volvo Cars and Kone. 

In his role with Renta, he will be based in Stockholm, Sweden, and will assume responsibility for the development and implementation of the company’s fleet strategy, lead the group’s procurement, ensure technical development and secure capacity and sustainability in the supply chain.
