ERA members to reward OEMs for progress on training recommendations

By Lewis Tyler07 March 2023

The rental company members of the ERA Technical Committee will reward progress made by OEMs towards implementing the committee’s recommendations on training materials, published in 2022, during the European Rental Awards ceremony on 7 June in Maastricht.

The rental company members of ERA require training materials adapted to their needs. Whilst OEMs already have training materials available, very often, they do not meet the needs of the rental companies.

These training materials should be provided by the OEMs and concern levels 1 and 2 out of the 4 levels of training defined by the rental companies (see here: https://erarental.org/publications/education-and-technical-training-for-rental-companies/)

The recommendations are available to download here: https://erarental.org/publications/trainings-levels-1-and-2-era-technical-committees-recommendation/

The deadline for submitting applications for the ERA Technical Committee Award is 8 March. Download the application form here: https://www.khl-group.com/events/rentalawards/awards.html

The European Rental Awards ceremony will take place during the ERA Convention and alongside IRE and APEX. The theme of this year’s Convention is ‘Investing in People’, which will address the challenges encountered by the equipment rental industry in attracting people and will develop the topics of retention, development, training, diversity and inclusion.‎
