Hoffman will be aiming to build the rental management software company’s presence across the continent by helping African rental companies to develop their businesses, using her combination of equipment knowledge and entrepreneurial experience to drive their success.

Her career began in the motor industry, becoming Pirtek UK’s engineering sales manager for four regions, then head of hydraulics for Parker Hannifin South Africa. Before joining Point of Rental, Hoffman ran her own mobile marketing business for a number of years.

Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris said, “One of our goals is to be able to provide excellent local service to all our customers.” He went on to say, “Kelly has the right experience to be successful and an epic attitude; we’re looking forward to watching her develop relationships with hire companies in Africa.”
