Atlas Copco Group is to acquire US-based National Tank & Equipment (NTE), a specialist rental provider of pumps and storage solutions. No financial details have been disclosed.
Founded in Houston, Texas, NTE employs 310 people and serves customers in the energy, infrastructure construction, municipal, industrial, and mining sectors.
Its rental services include the design of engineered fluid-transfer solutions – pumps and accessories – as well as tanks, containers, ancillary equipment, and basic water filtration systems.
In 2024, the company generated revenues of approximately US$218 million (SEK 2.1 billion).
Atlas Copco said the deal will enable it to enter the specialty dewatering market in the US and expand its portfolio of specialty rental solutions.
Andrew Walker, Business Area President Power Technique, said, “I am very pleased to welcome NTE to the Group. With this acquisition we are entering into the specialty dewatering market in the USA, and we are further extending the portfolio of specialty rental solutions we can offer to our customers.”
Following completion, which is expected in the third quarter of 2025 and us subject to regulatory approval, NTE will become part of the Specialty Rental division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area.
