Selwood owner Workdry buys again in US
12 September 2025
Acquisative pump rental specialist Workdry International Group - owner of Selwood, Holland Pump, Siltbuster and Vanderkamp - has acquired Florida-based Atlas Dewatering, further expanding its dewatering and pump rental activities in the US following its acquisition of Holland Pump last year.
The acquisition has been backed by Workdry’s majority shareholder, fund manager Arcus Infrastructure Partners. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Atlas Dewatering delivers sock drain and wellpoint systems, pump rental and maintenance services, and will allow Holland Pump - also based in Florida - to expand its dewatering offering. Eugene Heldreth Jr founded Atlas in 1997, with his brother Mark Heldreth joining the team later. Mark will remain with the business following the acquisition.
Dan Lee, CEO of Workdry International, said; “We are delighted to welcome Atlas Dewatering into the Workdry International family.
“Atlas Dewatering is a long-established and well-respected business whose values align perfectly with those of Holland Pump and the wider Workdry International Group.
“We are pleased to welcome their team into our group as we continue our vision to be the leader in asset rental solutions for the handling and treatment of water and wastewater, driving environmental sustainability and supporting critical infrastructure through specialist, engineered asset rental solutions, in the US, UK and Europe.”
