Big dealer rental software acquisition in USA

VitalEdge Technologies, a global specialist in heavy equipment dealer software, has acquired US-based Integrated Rental, which develops rental software systems for heavy equipment dealers and rental companies.

VitalEdge, which has its corporate HQ in Raleigh, North Carolina, said the deal would give it software for “every major phase of operations for heavy equipment dealers.”

The software firm, which has offices in the US, Canada, Japan, Australia and India, said rental was one of the fastest growing segments of the equipment industry and that the addition of the rental system would help dealers capitalise on the trend. It said Integrated’s rental functionality would allow dealers to add a “best-in-class” rental experience to the core dealer management solutions it already sells.

VitalEdge was created in 2023 by the merger of e-Emphasys and IntelliDealer. It employs more than 900 people and its technology supports 4,300 dealer locations in more than 20 countries.

Alise Moncure becomes president of expansion markets at VitalEdge.

Moncure will join VitalEdge’s leadership team as president of Expansion Markets, leading efforts in rental as well as other markets. All Integrated Rental employees are joining VitalEdge.
