Trime appoints sales director

Trime UK has expanded its board of directors following the appointment of Andrew Owen as Sales Director.

Owen, who assumes the role on April 3, has served as Sales Manager for Trime since joining the company in 2017.

Prior to joining Trime, he spent 22 years with welding and genset specialist Genset UK, where he served as Service Controller before taking the role of Business Manager.

In a career that has spanned more than 30 years, Owen has also held sales roles at UK firms Rugbi Industrial Supplies and Harrington Generators International.

In his newly created role, Owen will assume responsibility for expanding the sales existing Trime products, and will develop a sales strategy in line with the company’s growth plans.

Owen said, “Trime is a fabulous team both here in the UK and Italy, with a positive work culture to match. Everyone has the same vision to support our customers and develop the business with sustainability in its DNA.

“I feel privileged to be offered the position of sales director and to work within the hire industry of the UK and Ireland, which has some great people working within it.”
