HE Services equipment on its way to the first Ritchie Bros auction in Poland on 14 November.

Ritchie Bros.' first-ever auction in Poland will offer more than 180 items of equipment from UK excavator rental company H.E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd. The 14 November event in Sosnoviec, near Katowice, will include excavators, dump trucks, backhoes loaders and telescopic handlers from the Kent-based company.

Hugh Edeleanu, chairman of H. E. Services, said, "We had a large selection of young, well-maintained machines surplus to our fleet that are very suitable for the Polish market, which is why we chose to sell them at the upcoming auction.

"We service our machines right on schedule, so the interested buyers at the auction can be sure that they are bidding on equipment that has been well looked after and maintained - at the price they are willing to pay. We don't know what everything will be sold for, because the auction will be unreserved, but we do know that every machine will be sold on auction day for a fair market price."

Ritchie Bros divisional manager Brian Butzelaar said, "We're excited to be bringing our unreserved auction methods to equipment buyers and sellers in Poland. We've been serving a growing number of Polish customers since establishing an office here in 2005, so it made sense to organise an auction here".

H.E. Services said its fleet of 2500-3000 machines makes it the largest specialist excavator rental company in the UK. It has been selling equipment at Ritchie auctions since the mid 90s. Ritchie Bros' first auction was held in 1958 and it now operates in more than 25 countries.
