Opifex-Synergy acquires Equipment Finders

Equipment Finders Inc (EFI) is a privately owned company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1996 and with around 40 employees, it serves the Middle Tennessee region with a wide range of equipment. It’s fleet has a replacement value of approximately US$14 million.

EFI founder Scott Hatcher will join Opifex-Synergy’s corporate leadership team as vice president of corporate development and will join the management advisory committee.

Opifex-Synergy said that following the deal it will have a multi-branch presence in 10 of the top 22 metropolitan areas in the country. The business expanded in 2024 following the merger of Opifex LLC and Synergy Equipment and focuses on the south west and south east markets of the USA.

It added that it had a growth plan focused on increasing organic same-store sales, expanding specialty rental product and service offerings, and pursuing strategic acquisitions.
