Haulotte Africa's online training

Haulotte Africa’s online training included modules on its PULSEO equipment and its Star range of vertical masts.

Haulotte Africa has held three videoconference training sessions for its authorised regional distributor Premium Group (Le Groupe Premium en Afrique).

With travel restrictions in place due to Covid-19, Haulotte delivered the virtual access equipment training to more than 20 participants at Premium Group, which provides sales and rental services across 12 countries in north west Africa including Morocco, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Niger and Mauritania.

Albéric Duriaux, marketing manager for the Europe and Africa zone, said, “We are happy to support Premium Group in the development of its teams’ skills. The distance training allows us to maintain the link with our distributors during this complicated period.”

Haulotte provided training features on both its Pulseo generation aerial platforms and its HS15/18 E scissors to the distributor’s sales representatives, technicians, spare parts managers and workshop managers. The company said a module dedicated to its Star range of vertical masts and to electric scissors was also included, owing to their popularity in the region.

Loïc Lefort, Premium Africa general manager, said, “The digitalisation of exchanges does not alter their quality in any way. Our collaboration with Haulotte is getting stronger as the months go by.”

Haulotte added that it would provide practical field training as soon as the health and safety restrictions imposed as a result of Coronavirus would allow it.
