Mateco has announced a change in leadership for operations in its home country of Germany, appointing Alexander Bradfisch as its new managing director.

A business administration graduate, Bradfisch takes over the position from the construction equipment rental company’s longstanding leader Armin Rappen, who is soon to leave the company after 15 years of service to pursue other opportunities.

Bradfisch, who is described by Mateco as having “many years of extensive experience” in the management of large and medium-sized companies, previously oversaw project management access solutions for Swiss security group Dormakaba and, earlier in his career, also held leadership roles at Glutz and Bosch Sicherheitssyteme.

He will now be responsible for all of the company’s operations in Germany, which is expected to include Mateco’s most recent business acquisition; aerial platform specialist H&M Arbeitsbühnenvermietung.
