Boels gets bronze rating from EcoVadis
27 August 2025
Boels Group has been awarded the bronze medal by EcoVadis, the body that publishes sustainability ratings for more than 150,000 companies worldwide.
Bronze means that Boels is in the top 35% of all rated companies. The rental company said it scored in the 82nd percentile, meaning it outperformed 82% of the organisations assessed.
Carmen ten Berge, Boels Group sustainability manager, said: “This Bronze Medal is a great milestone – and a solid foundation to build on. We’ll continue to reduce our impact and make sustainable choices, both today and in the future.”

Boels said that over the past three years it has worked hard to develop and harmonise its policies, procedures and processes in the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
The company said; “With operations in 27 countries, each with its own cultural and operational context, this recognition shows that we’re on the right track with our sustainability goals.”
Earlier this month, Boels announced that its Scandinavian business Cramo - which operates in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic States - had retained for a second year its gold rating with EcoVadis, which is achieved by only 5% of companies rated by the agency.
The company has set itself the target of becoming a net-zero emissions business by 2050. It annually publishes a sustainability report – see the 2024 report here.
