US-based equipment rental company BigRentz has announced a strategic integration with construction management platform Linarc that aims to reduce delays on construction sites.

The partnership with California-headquartered Linarc brings BigRentz’s nationwide rental network directly into the cloud-based Linarc platform.

With that, BigRentz said the partnership will provide contractors with the ability to manage equipment rentals within existing workflows, eliminate manual coordination and improve project control.

BigRentz operates an online marketplace for contractors and equipment users through partnerships with 6,000 rental companies.

Linarc users will be able to directly access those 6,000 suppliers via the BigRentz platform, with ‘special BigRentz pricing’ available to existing Linarc customers.

Scott Cannon, CEO of BigRentz, said, “When scheduling and procurement aren’t connected, delays are all but guaranteed. This partnership fixes that. By integrating BigRentz directly into Linarc’s planning tools, we’re helping contractors lock in equipment faster, stay on schedule, and avoid the costly scramble.”

Shanthi Rajan, CEO and founder of Linarc, added, “At Linarc, our mission has always been to remove complexity from construction management by unifying the tools teams rely on every day. The partnership with BigRentz takes that vision a step further, making procurement easily available during project planning.

“Equipment delays are often the reason for missed deadlines and budget overruns. By connecting resource planning with real-time rental access, Linarc is helping construction teams make faster, more informed decisions and ultimately, deliver better outcomes.”

Founded in 2012, BigRentz has steadily grown its network over the last decade. Just last year it said it now covers more than 14,000 rental supplier locations nationwide.

Cannon said the company has “big goals” and doesn’t “plan to stop at 14,000 locations.”
