Finland’s CE Rental takes on Liugong products

Finnish rental company CE Rental Oy has become authorised dealer for Liugong in Finland.

Initially, CE Rental will focus on Liugong’s battery-electric models, including the 820TE and 848TE wheel loaders and the 9027FE and 922FE excavators. The rental company, which is based in Pirkkala, near Tampere in southern Finland, will also offer Liugong’s diesel-powered range.

The business operates from six locations in the country and has a fleet of more than 100 machines, comprising a mix of JCB and Liugong models.

Kimmo Saartoala, CEO of CE Rental, said the new dealership supported its growth strategy; “We want to be a pioneer in the electric machine revolution, offering sustainable and economical solutions for industry, logistics, property maintenance and earthmoving.

“Liugong’s wide product portfolio also allows us to expand into new sectors, such as mining operations. We’ve had very good experiences with Liugong machines in our rental fleet, and equally strong support from Liugong Europe on spare parts and product service.”

The Chinese OEM, which has 10,500 battery electric machines in use worldwide, said the appointment marked an important step in strengthening its dealer network in Scandinavia.
