Merlo targets European renters

Premium Content

21 April 2015

Italian telehandler specialist Merlo has announced a new rental range including a 75hp model with a Stage III engine.

The company said the move is in response to feedback from rental clients. At the same time it has launched two models in its Plus range based on existing products.

75hp is the largest power output possible before going to a Stage IV engine, and though it is the smallest member of the rental range of products, Merlo insisted the unit is ideal for tough digging applications.

Merlo is targeting a number of European markets with the new products, despite some of them still emerging from a tough 2014.

It is now embarking on its second century of manufacturing, having celebrated 50 years last year, and has already won the Intermat Innovation Gold award for the Merlo Traversal Safety Systems for telehandlers.
