Intermat plans African Summit during 2027 exhibition

The Intermat exhibition in April next year will hold an African Summit on the Thursday of the show to highlight the continent’s construction activity and prospects.

The conference will be on Thursday 22 April and is designed to position the exhibition as a platform for cooperation between industry players, public decision-makers and African institutions. The Paris show runs from 21 to 24 April.

“Participants will gain a concrete and in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the construction market in Africa through sector analyses, feedback from experience, and testimonials from key stakeholders”, said Intermat.

Themes will include reports on major projects; the long-term infrastructure investment outlook; development priorities; opportunities for cooperation; and challenges on financing and equipment modernisation.

The detailed programme and speakers will be announced soon, said Intermat’s organiser.

The show takes place on 21 to 24 April, 2027 at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Nord Villepinte in Paris, France.
