Socage has introduced its latest lift, the Forste Speed HE+H truck mounted platform.

The new model, launched at Platformers Days in Germany, offers a maximum working height of 27 m and an outreach of up to 15 m, on a 3.5 tonne chassis.

The double articulated platform has been developed to combine increased performance with compact dimensions, simplified operation and improved efficiency, targeting contractors and rental companies requiring a high-reach machine that can be mounted on a light commercial vehicle.

Basket capacity is up to 250kg, while the aluminium basket measures 1.4 m length x 700 mm with and 1.1 m height, with 90 degrees of hydraulic rotation in either direction.

The boom features double articulation, while the turret offers 700-degree rotation, providing a wide working envelope.

A key feature is the company’s Speed automatic stabilisation system, combined with its HE+H vertical outriggers. The system enables the operator to deploy and stabilise the platform at the touch of a button, including from the basket, reducing the number of manual operations required before work can begin.

The long-stroke vertical outriggers are designed to accommodate uneven ground, while the automatic stabilisation system simplifies setup in confined working areas. Automatic stowing of the aerial structure is also included.

Electrically operated proportional controls provide smooth and precise boom movements, says the company, including during simultaneous functions, while the control system is designed to improve operator confidence and ease of use.

Socage says the latest development places particular emphasis on operator assistance, ease of maintenance and long-term reliability, alongside improvements in performance and operational efficiency.
