25 September 2008

Portable accommodation and storage renter Williams Scotsman has expended its operations in Mexico with four new depots in Juárez, Hermosillo, Riviera Maya and Tijuana.

"The new branch openings represent the company's commitment to serving our Mexican customers in the manufacturing, mining, agricultural, and tourism-related fields," said Nicholas Polit, country manager of Mexico. "With nine branch locations strategically positioned throughout Mexico, we are able to offer our customers unprecedented value and service."

Williams Scotsman began operating in Mexico five years ago and now has branches across the country (Hermosillo, Juárez, Mexico City, Monterrey, Queretaro, Tampico, Tijuana, Riviera Maya and Villahermosa).

Juárez is located across the border from El Paso, Texas, and is a port of entry for all of central northern Mexico. Centrally located, Hermosillo serves as a gateway to various tourist destinations throughout Mexico and is home to a growing industrial hub with companies such as Ford Motor Company establishing factories there.

Riviera Maya is a tourist destination in the north-east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, and Tijuana is the westernmost city in Mexico and one of the fastest growing cities and industrial centres in the country.
