Trime strengthens its sales team with appointment

Lighting tower specialist Trime UK has appointed Brad Ireland as sales manager (West). 

Ireland, who assumed the role earlier this month, joins from former UK-based Trime distributor MHM Group.

He initially joined the company in 2019 as UK & Ireland sales manager, and had held the role of Group sales director since December 2020.

Prior to that, he spent four years with portable storage and handling tank manufacturer Western Global.

Trime said Ireland is a “well-known and respected champion of construction equipment in the UK and Ireland” and brings “a vast knowledge of power generation technology, site lighting towers and fuel tanks” to the company.

Commenting on his new role, Ireland said, “I can’t wait to get started. Trime is a company I have admired for some time. Their products and backup services are second to none, and their commitment to developing sustainable equipment is entirely in tandem with mine.”

Paul Hay, Trime UK, managing director, added, “I’ve known Brad for quite some time and I have always been impressed with his positive attitude and his dedication to providing exemplary customer service. I am confident he will be a great asset to our sales team.”

The move comes after the company moved to a new £2.5 million purpose-built headquarters in Huntingdon that enables it to stock more products locally, offer live demonstrations, and streamline support for rental customers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

More recently, it received the Rental Product of the Year award at the European Rental Awards in Dublin for its MGTP 24000/30 THS generator.
