Speakers and moderators added for ERA Convention

The European Rental Association (ERA) has confirmed a number of speakers and moderators for its annual convention, which this year takes place in Rome, Italy on 3 and 4 June.

These include Claudio Fiorentini of JCB, who joins Udo Kiesewalter of the VDBUM for the roundtable discussion on the Standardisation of Telematics on the second morning. The telematics roundtable will be moderated by Martin Holmgren of Cramo.

Elsewhere, the ERA’s Michel Petitjean has been named as moderator of the opening roundtable of the event, which looks at the construction market in host country Italy.

The closing address of the convention will be given by Marc Luyckx Ghisi. Described as having been at various times a priest, a political thinker in the Forward Studies Unit of the European Union, and more recently the creator of new schools of e-management, his presentation is on moving “Towards a New Civilisation”.

This year’s convention has the theme of “Sustainability as an Opportunity”, and will include among the speakers Franciska Janzon of Ramirent, who chairs the ERA’s Sustainability Committee.

Once again, the event will include the European Rental Awards on the evening of 3 June.
