Shortlists announced for 2015 European Rental Awards

The shortlists for the 2015 European Rental Awards have been chosen by the judging panel following its meeting in Brussels on Wednesday 18 March.
The winners will be announced at the rental awards dinner on the evening of 3 June in Rome, Italy, during the ERA’s annual convention.
The shortlists for each category, in alphabetical order, are:
Large Rental Company of the Year (revenues >€15 million)
- A-Plant (UK)
- GAP Hire (UK)
- HSS Hire (UK)
Small/Mid-sized rental Company of the year (revenue
- Atut Rental (Poland)
- Germans Homs (Spain)
- Industrial Access (Romania)
- OMEC (Italy)
Sustainable Rental Product of the Year
- Firefly (hybrid generator)
- Holland Lift (hybrid scissor lift)
- MHM Plant/Powerbank (hybrid generator)
- Morris Site Machinery (solar lighting tower)
- Wacker Neuson (electric powered rammer)
Rental Person of the Year
- To be announced at the awards dinner.
ERA/IRN Lifetime Achievement Award
- To be announced at the awards dinner.
The judges met at the offices of the European Rental Association (ERA) in Brussels of Wednesday 18 March. The judges were:
• Xavier du Boÿs (CEO, Kiloutou, France)
• Marzia Giusto (CEO, Nacanco & President, Assonolo, Italy)
• Nicolas Guigon (Rental & Used Equipment Manager – EAME, Caterpillar)
• Vesa Koivula (ERA President & CEO, Cramo, Finland)
• Murray Pollok (Managing Editor, International Rental News (IRN))
Michel Petitjean, secretary general of ERA, was the non-voting chair of the meeting. The judges' companies were not able to enter the awards.
