Selwood pumps powered with biofuel

United Kingdom-based rental company Selwood has become the first in the country to offer pumps that can be run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) instead of traditional diesel.

Selwood – which manufactures and supplies pumps, plant and construction equipment across the country and internationally – said it had completed its HVO testing phase and that all its pumps with a Stage 3B engine could now be run on the second-generation biofuel. This includes the company’s S160Eco, D150Eco and HP35Eco Eco range of models.
