Renta Group has concluded the purchase of Sweden-based rental company Gustafssons Uthyrning.

The company announced in September that it had reached an agreement with Gustafssons, which has three depots in Oskarshamn, Västervik and Vimmerby.

As well as three new locations, the deal adds SEK 45 million (€3.8 million) in annual revenue to Renta and brings the number of depots it has in Sweden to above 60.

Renta said the purchase is the latest strategic step it has taken in building a nationwide network in Sweden.

Earlier this year it also acquired Hyrpoolen, a Swedish general rental company with two depots located in the Stockholm area.

Meanwhile, it has also expanded its presence in Denmark, Norway and Finland with a number of acquisitions.
