Renta Group has finalised the purchase of Norwegian general rental company Mylift for an undisclosed amount.

Details of the acquisition were first announced by Renta in June, with the company revealing that it is part of a strategy to build a nationwide rental network across Norway.

As well as adding NOK 360 million (€30 million) of annual revenue, Renta Group will now have 33 depots in Norway with the addition of Mylifts’s locations in the northern part of Oslo and Innlandet.

Renta says the acquisition will also enable it to expand its offering in the country to include site modules and scaffolding services through Mylift subsidiary MB Stillas.

Managing director of Renta Norge, Leif-Martin Drange said, “At Renta, we have been looking for an expansion of scaffolding rental and assembly for some time.

“MB Stillas is a serious player with a focus on quality and HSE, which suits our business very well. When we now take over MB Stillas, it means a win-win for customers, employees and owners.”

Kari Aulasmaa, CEO of Renta Group, added, “Mylift’s complementary presence and offering provides us an excellent platform for continued growth in Norway. We would like to extend a warm welcome to the Mylift team and look forward to working with them.“
