Record UK Pavilion at Bauma

Some 37 construction equipment manufacturers and suppliers to the industry will take part in this year’s Bauma exhibition as part of the UK Pavilion. According to the Construction Equipment Association, the UK trade body for the construction equipment industry, it will be the largest ever UK Pavilion at Bauma.
CEA director of global programmes, Joanna Oliver said, “The construction equipment sector in the UK is worth in excess of US$ 18.5 billion each year to the UK and the sector employs over 50,000 people.
“The CEA is delighted to be presenting the 2016 UK Pavilion. With the sponsorship of [the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills] BIS – the UK government’s Department of Trade, we hope that this event will expose the UK companies exhibiting to many potential buyers, end-users and partners.”
The UK Pavilion will be located in Hall B5 at the Messe München International exhibition ground, which will host Bauma from April 11 – 17 this year.
