New European headquarters for Tsurumi
30 March 2016
Pump manufacturer Tsurumi said it had moved into its new European headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany. The move isn’t far from its old headquarters, which were also located in the city, but the company has relocated to an 800m2 modern complex.
The company said it had also more than doubled its supply depot in Düsseldorf to 2500m2, boasting a test tank for pumps of up to 22kW. As Tsurumi operates a large pump rental business, there has also been growth in this area too. The premises and systems for reconditioning also satisfy the highest of environmental standards, according to the company.
Tsurumi said it held the majority of its range in its supply depots, meaning that most of the pumps can be on their way to customers within 24 hours of ordering.
Tsurumi has a turnover of €22 million in Germany and about €30 million in Europe. The company has its global headquarters in Japan, and offers over 1800 types of pump up to 400kW, with its standard range for Europe comprising around 250 models.
The latest model is a new electric contactor’s pump, the LH4110W, with 110kW power and ability to pump waste water with 8mm particles up to 216m vertically.
