National Trench Safety opens in Tucson

By Helen Wright18 July 2016

US-based trench and traffic safety specialist National Trench Safety (NTS) has opened a new office in Tucson, Arizona, Texas – the company’s 28th branch in the US.

“Tucson is an important market as we look to strengthen our Arizona and Western footprint,” said president Ron Chilton.

“Tucson is a large, growing city that has a significant amount of potential for our trench and traffic safety businesses. We’re responding to market needs and a clear request from our customers for NTS support in the greater Tucson area.”

The Tucson branch will be managed by Gene Nowlan, a seasoned trench safety veteran. “Gene took over our Phoenix branch earlier in the year and has done a tremendous job increasing the branch’s performance and profitability,” said Mr Chilton.

“Gene has a strong track record managing multiple locations, as well as leading cold starts, and we anticipate strong results from the Tucson market. Additionally, the Tucson market will allow us to further strengthen our position in Phoenix through increased fleet availability and sharing between the two markets.”

NTS said it planned to open two to three additional branch locations in 2016.
