GE has sold its North American Modular Space portable accommodation rental business to Resun Corp, a Virginia, US specialist in modular buildings. The price was not disclosed. The combined business – which will have a fleet of over 60000 accommodation units - will be renamed Modular Space Corp (ModSpace) and its headquarters will relocate from Resun's base at Dulles, Virginia, to an office close to the Philadelphia head office of GE Modular Space. Charles Paquin, Resun's chief executive officer, becomes president and CEO of ModSpace.
