22 October 2026
Socage Deutschland has received the first customer order worldwide for the new forste 27T Speed days after its world premiere at Platformers’ Days 2026 in Karlsruhe.
W. Schnitger, based in Northeim, Germany, has ordered the new 27m telescopic truck mounted platform, following previous orders from the Italian manufacturer.

With the forste 27T Speed, W. Schnitger is expanding its fleet with the 26.8m working height unit, which offersa lateral outreach of up to 17.3m. The new straight telescopic aerial lift provides a maximum basket capacity of 250kg and features automatic stabilisation and levelling. It is also equipped with a new generation of Socage Speed control technology, with displays at both control stations.
Delivery of the new forSte 27T Speed to W. Schnitger is scheduled for mid-2027.
Another Socage order from Schnitger
The order for the forste 27T Speed continues the established cooperation between W. Schnitger and Socage Deutschland. In 2024, the PartnerLift member company purchased a forste 24D Speed. In 2025, this was followed by a forste 18T HE+H Speed, a forste 16A and a Raptor 21S tracked aerial work platform.
“We are delighted to have received the first order for our new forste 27T Speed just days after its world premiere. We are particularly pleased that W. Schnitger, an existing customer, has once again chosen Socage. For us, this is an important confirmation of our products and our customer relationships.” said Andre Gerdes, managing director of Socage Deutschland.
“We already have several Socage aerial work platforms in our fleet and have had very positive experiences working with the company,” said Daniel Wenzel, managing director of W. Schnitger. “We particularly value the reliability of the platforms and their good price-performance ratio. With the new forSte 27T Speed, the combination of working height, outreach and flexibility, along with its wide range of applications, were the decisive factors for us.”
