Equipment rental company Fidenza Macchine has expanded its fleet of truck mounts, placing an order for three 19-metre units with manufacturer Multitel Pagliero.

The family-run company, which was founded in 1975 and is located to the east of Genoa in Fidenza, Northern Italy, has purchased two of Multitel’s MXE200 model and one of its MX196 machines.

Fidenza’s two new MXE200 units provide a maximum working height of 19.9m and an outreach of 9.00m. The MXE200 platform model is mounted on a 3.5-tonne truck and features an aluminium base frame and a micro-perforated floor, which Multitel says makes it “one of lightest platforms in its class”.

Similarly, the rental company’s MX196 unit offers a working height of 19.6m with an outreach of 9.2m. It also features a side mounted cage that gives users “better access on flat surfaces”.

Fidenza’s new units, which are expected to be delivered within the next few months, will join a rental equipment fleet that comprises skid steers, mini excavators and aerial platforms to customers.

According to Multitel, the truck mount order further solidifies its relationship with the rental company, which has purchased 16 units from the manufacturer since 2011.
