ERA launches new website with AI Assistant

The European Rental Association (ERA) has launched its new website, giving members, rental companies and industry stakeholders easier access to ERA’s publications, tools, news and events.

One of the main additions is the AI-powered Knowledge Assistant. The tool allows users to ask questions and receive answers based on ERA’s resources, with links back to the relevant sources.

It can also help users find publications through natural language searches and supports multilingual use.

The launch follows ERA’s wider work on digitalisation and artificial intelligence, including the ERA report From Digitalisation to AI, which looks at how AI can be used in a practical way across the rental sector.

Clear structure & navigation

More widely, the website has been redesigned with a clearer structure and simpler navigation, while keeping ERA’s visual identity. Key areas such as About Us, Discover Rental, Publications, Tools, News, Events and Membership are now easier to access from the main menu.

ERA’s publications are also easier to find. Users can search and filter documents by topic and type, helping them access reports, guides, toolboxes and other resources without needing to know the exact title.

News and events have also been reorganised, with filters to help users find relevant updates more quickly.

The new website gives more visibility to ERA’s practical tools, including the Total Cost of Ownership Calculator, the Equipment CO₂ Calculator, the OSH Toolbox and carbon reporting guidance.

These resources are intended to support equipment rental companies in areas such as sustainability, safety, operational efficiency and decision-making.

Members and stakeholders are invited to explore the new website, try the Knowledge Assistant and use the updated sections to access ERA’s latest resources.
