Carl Webb appointed MD of Andrews Sykes

The board of Andrews Sykes has announced that, with immediate effect, Carl Webb has been appointed Managing Director of the Company and to the Board, succeeding Paul Wood, who recently passed away.

Carl Webb has been appointed Managing Director of Andrews Sykes with immediate effect.

Andrews Sykes runs pump and temperature control rental businesses in the UK, mainland Europe, the Middle East and North America.

Webb had been appointed interim Managing Director in January 2021 when Wood stood down due to poor health.

Commenting on Webb’s permanent appointment, Jean-Jacques Murray, Vice- Chairman of Andrews Sykes, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Carl to the Board and know that the Company will continue to thrive under his leadership.”

Paul Wood sadly passed away after a short illness in recent weeks. Commenting on his legacy, the company said he had built a strong management team around him, including Carl Webb, who it described as “a fine leader.”
