Ampd targets global growth with appointment

Battery energy storage system (BESS) OEM Ampd Energy has appointed Bhaskar Majee as its vice president of operations.

Ampd described Majee as a “highly accomplished executive with a proven track record of success in developing and leading world-class operations for both Fortune 100 and private equity-owned companies.”

He brings almost a decade of executive leadership experience having previously worked with companies such as General Electric and Philips. In his new role, the company said he will guide it through its global business strategies.

His responsibilities at Ampd Energy includes overseeing all aspects of the company’s global business operations, including manufacturing, quality control, supply chain management, sourcing and operations strategy.

Ampd Energy specialises in energy storage and management solutions, primarily focused on providing sustainable, efficient, and high-performance power systems for construction and other industries.

Earlier this year the company signed an agreement with off-grid power distributor Blue Diamond Machinery and energy storage system (ESS) manufacturer Ampd Energy is partnering to “make the electrification of construction sites a reality.”
