Algeco CEO to leave in November

Algeco Group’s CEO Andrew Tyler will leave the business in November 2019. Tyler, a former COO of the UK’s Ministry of Defence, has led the business since May 2018.

Algeco has begun a search for a successor and said Tylor will support its executive team through the transition.

Algeco said that in his period as CEO Tyler had integrated the European and Asia Pacific businesses, moved the headquarters from Baltimore to London, and overseen the integration of Touax Solutions Modulaires and the spin-off of Target Hospitality, the North American remote accommodation business.

Mike Smith, Algeco’s chairman, said: “Andrew has led a period of major change at Algeco and I would like to thank him for his significant contribution and wish him all the very best in the future.”

Algeco has a fleet of 240,000 modular space and storage units in 22 countries, as well as 3,400 remote accommodation rooms. It operates as Elliott in the UK, Algeco in the rest of Europe, Ausco in Australia, Portacom in New Zealand and Algeco Chengdong in China.
