A-Plant Lux Traffic Control and Management has been awarded a three-year sole supplier contract to supply traffic management and operatives to Plymouth City Council for events work.

The three-year contract, which has an optional two-year extension, will see A-Plant Lux work with the council’s events team and internal and external customers on events that take place in the Plymouth area.

A-Plant Lux will provide design, planning and implementation services for temporary road closures and traffic management for such events as Lord Mayor’s Day, Armed Forces Day, Remembrance Sunday and the Christmas lights switch-on.

A-Plant Lux business development director Jim McLachlan said: “We have delivered a number of short-term contracts for Plymouth City Council over a period of several years, so we’re absolutely delighted to secure a three-year agreement and it is testimony to the quality of service we deliver. We look forward to working with the events team and offering our expertise, skills and experience to ensure a successful long-term working partnership.”
