Kiloutou expands with specialty acquisition

Kiloutou has acquired Froid Loc Services, a specialist in the rental and sales of cooling systems, air conditioners, and air handling units. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Founded in 2023 and based in Saint-Pierre-du-Perray, France, Froid Loc Services provides cooling solutions for the energy, industrial, services, and events sectors.

Its fleet includes cooling units with outputs up to 660kW, air conditioning systems, air handling units, and associated services including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

According to Kiloutou, these services will be rolled out nationwide through a programme of branch openings over the coming years.

The deal will also allow Kiloutou’s French subsidiary to specialise in the supply of both cooling and heating solutions.

Kiloutou said the acquisition strengthens its position as a “multi-specialist player dedicated to improving the performance of its professional customers’ construction sites.”

It added that the offering addresses urgent, one-off, and long-term thermal regulation needs, describing this as a “crucial area given the current climate uncertainties, comfort requirements, business continuity needs, and maintenance or renovation work.”
