Bobcat aims to ‘empower every operator’ with ConExpo showing

Bobcat said it would use ConExpo-Con/Agg to show how artificial intelligence, electrification, autonomy and connectivity will impact on the future of compact equipment.

It said advances in technology would reduce jobsite complexity, improve uptime and help the construction industry adapt to major shifts in the workforce, with an estimated 41% of the US construction workforce expected to retire by 2031.

The OEM said it was developing equipment to make operation easier for new workers, while increasing productivity and precision for experienced operators.

Its booth - W40745 in the West Hall - will provide a hands-on look at Bobcat’s equipment range, including its latest concept machine, RogueX3, the next iteration of the RogueX2 electric autonomous loader shown at Intermat in 2024.

Also on show will be the MT120 mini track loader, its newest compact excavator; the ZT7000 zero-turn mower; the 100kVA PG100 portable generator; and the L95 compact wheel loader.

Bobcat said; “While equipment takes center stage in the booth, attendees will also see how Bobcat is incorporating emerging technologies across its lineup.

“Select machines will feature AI-enabled capabilities, machine automation and connectivity advancements designed to improve jobsite productivity and efficiency.”

Meanwhile, the company’s director of Global Digital Products, Garrett Maurer, will participate in the ConExpo education programme with a presentation titled Building Tomorrow: How Digital Advancements are Shaping the Construction Industry.

The session will take place on Tuesday, 3 March from 13.00 to 14.00.
