Bobcat has added to its range of compact wheel loaders with the launch of the L95.

Powered by a 2.4L V2 Bobcat engine, the five tonne L95 compact wheel loader is described by the company as a “multi-purpose machine” that is suitable for use in a number of sectors, including rental, construction and recycling.

Like its smaller predecessors the L85 and L75, the machine has a bucket capacity of 0.8m3 and bucket range of between 0.6 - 1.5m3, but comes with new additions based on customer feedback.

These include a joystick that is integrated into the suspension seat, improved forward-reverse response time and increased lift and tilt multifunctionality.

For comfort and safety, the cab of the L95 has full FOPS Level II operator protection, fully adjustable and heated premium seat, a HVAC system and two-way adjustable steering column.

An Automatic Parking Brake and Slope Assist come as standard, while its intuitive control scheme is said to ensure inexperienced operators can get to work quickly on the L95.

Elsewhere, a full glass door and powerful LED lights provide the operator with “excellent visibility”, while controls for differential lock, turtle/rabbit mode, boom float and auxiliary flow control are located on top of the joystick.

For technology, the L95 compact wheel loader is fitted with Bobcat’s Machine IQ telematics system which enables remote monitoring of the machines performance.

It is also equipped with a redesigned Power Quick-Tach system that is compatible with widely used industry standard couplers. The latest version of the Bob-Tach Adapter for installing approved Bobcat attachments is also included.

For improved high-flow attachment performance, Bobcat has increased the pressure from 200 to 225 bar, while the Advanced Attachment Control system enables operators to switch to an alternative machine control pattern at the touch of a button.

Jiri Karmazin, loaders product manager at Bobcat, said, “High performance is assured in the L95 by the combination of the powerful Bobcat 55kW engine, the hydraulics and the 40km/h maximum travel speed.

“As in the L75 and L85, this is complemented by the comfortable and spacious cab, combined with the high stability and lift capacity and impressive breakout, push and pull forces, together with a comprehensive selection of Bobcat attachments. And the enhanced Automatic Ride Control system protects operators from any bumps or rough terrain.”
