The location—close to major road and rail links—marks a significant expansion for the business, designed to increase product availability, training resources and after-sales service.

Managing director Paul Hay said the £2.5 million investment will allow Trime UK to stock more products locally, offer live demonstrations, and streamline support for rental customers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

“This building strengthens our ability to respond quickly to our customers’ needs and underlines our commitment to the hire industry,” he said.

The official opening meant a return to the business by former CEO Ray Caulfield, who retired in 2023. It was he and Paul Hay who launched the UK subsidiary in 2016.

The new site includes a dedicated customer training and demonstration space, a 20-person meeting room and a workshop and classroom training area

Trime UK is the UK subsidiary of Trime srl, the Italian manufacturer of lighting towers, gensets, wash bays and dust suppression devices.
