Xtreme shows four new telehandlers at WoC

Xtreme Manufacturing has introduced four new telehandlers at the 2010 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas, NV. The XR630, XR621 low pivot, XR2050 and XR3034 were all on display for the first time.

The XR620 has a 6,000-pound capacity and a maximum lift height of 20 feet and the XR621 low pivot telehandler has a 6,000-pound capacity and a maximum lift height of 21 feet.

Both units feature frame tilt. Xtreme recently sold four of the low pivot telehandlers to Southern California Edison, said Randy Reeves, vice president of sales and marketing for Xtreme.

Xtreme also had its new XR2050 on stand, which features a maximum capacity of 20,000 pounds and a maximum lift height of 50 feet. The unit has a forward reach of 36 feet. Lastly, the XR3034 was introduced.

The telehandler has a 30,000-pound maximum capacity and a maximum lift height of 34 feet. Both units have frame leveling.

The XR3034 is a non-outrigger unit that Reeves said is a pick-and-carry machine geared toward lifting heavy materials and placing where needed.

It has been used with utility companies moving cable reels, telephone polls and other related material.

"It's a nimble, 30,000-pound machine that can lift the weight and move it," he said. "We made it streamlined enough that it can move around."
