More rental associations have signed up for European Rental Week, which takes place from October 9 to 15.

In France, DLR will participate by reactivating its “Renting is winning!” campaign.

Dutch association Verhurend Nederland is offering rental companies the opportunity to take up the challenge of becoming Rental Company of the Year.

Meanwhile, Italy-based Assodimi will present a digital marketing kit for staff recruitment.

At the same time, Anapat - the Spanish aerial platform rental association - said it wants to “support and help disseminate the activities carried out” as part of the event and is inviting its members to take part.

The Scottish Plant Owners Association (SPOA) and Spanish rental association ASEAMAC also announced their participation earlier this year, with SPOA to take part in Plant Hire Week.

European Rental Week aims to improve the attractiveness of the industry, raise awareness of the rental concept and promote rental as a sustainable, cost-effective and resource-efficient solution.

A number of activities, including a webinar on the importance of people to the industry and a competition for rental employees, have been organised.

Registration for the Building the Future’ – People and growth in equipment rental on 11 October, which will be streamed live from a Loxam branch, is available via the following link: https://na.eventscloud.com/era-building-the-future-webinar.
