Webinar to focus on US$65 bllion-dollar excavator market

The report covers mini, crawler and wheeled excavators, which Off-Highway Research said together account for almost half the volume of construction machines sold globally each year.

In 2025 Off-Highway Research estimated the value of the global excavator market at approximately US$64.9 billion

Chris Sleight, managing director, Off-Highway Research, said, “Almost every OEM in the industry is in this sector in some way because of the universal popularity of excavators.”

He added, “The industry has changed a lot in the last decade. The volume of excavators sold is up about 50%, the competitive landscape has moved a lot, and we are also starting to see sales of battery electric machines.”

Sleight said the webinar would cover these changes, as well as Off-Highway Research’s forecasts for the global excavator market and key regions over the next five years.

The 2026 edition of the Global Excavator Industry report will be published in September.

Off-Highway Research will host two webinar sessions on 9 October 2026. Both sessions will cover the same slides and format, and will include a Q&A.
