Warren Accesshas been using its new Isoli PNT 210JD4 truck mount in compact residential areas, including to remove ivy from the gable end of a three-storey UK government council property.

The driveway dimensions meant it required a machine with a narrow jacking option – one where the outriggers can be vertically deployed without first being extended outwards. The articulated boom with a jib also helped to provide safe access underneath overhead cables.

Housing association Gentoo also called in Warren Access’ expertise to remove overhanging branches from a roadside tree outside one of its properties in Washington, Tyne and Wear. The narrow jacking option minimised encroachment onto the road, minimising disruption to residents.

Graeme Warren, managing director of Warren Access, said, “We invested in this machine after seeing a significant rise in demand for 21m trucks on 3.5 tonne vehicles, which can be driven by anyone with a standard driving licence.

The Isoli PNT 210JD4 is mounted on a Nissan Cabstar chassis and includes a dual pantograph boom which gives zero tail swing and excellent up and over capabilities, said the company, and enhanced jib arc for precise positioning of the platform. A flat-bottomed basket makes it suitable for roofing work.

Improvements on the previous Isoli 210J model include increased safe working load from 200kg to 250kg, providing more payload for tools. The stowed height of the boom is also reduced for travelling.
