Volvo launches midi-excavator for Middle East and Africa

Volvo Construction Equipment has launched a new 7-tonne compact excavator for the Middle East and African construction equipment markets.

The 7-tonne EC75D features Volvo’s D3 diesel engine, delivering 44.4kW of power and reduced fuel consumption.

According to the manufacturer, the machine also incorporates an automatic idling system that lowers engine speed to idle when the controls are “inactive for five seconds or the left-hand console is raised”...Sign in to continue reading.
