UK government urged to consider making HS2’s Euston station a standalone megaproject

The UK government should consider treating the redevelopment of HS2’s London Euston terminus as a standalone major project, according to a new National Audit Office (NAO) report.

The report, which examines the government’s plans for a reset of the troubled HS2 project, warned ministers not to repeat mistakes that have plagued the wider high-speed rail programme.
