Three specialist piling equipment firms acquired by same owner

Dutch company Dieseco, Finland-based Movax, and the UK’s Watson & Hillhouse have all been bought by DevCo, which specialises in building companies in niche markets.

DevCo said there would be “no immediate changes to the brands”, with a focus on continuity for customers.

Each business will also continue operating from its existing headquarters and locations “during the initial integration period”, according to a spokesperson for DevCo when asked about plans by Construction Briefing.

Dieseko Group, which specialises in foundations, shoring, and ground improvement, promises a range of services to its customers through its brands ICE and PVE from consulting with clients, engineering and design, manufacturing, testing, logistics, operations, and analysis. It manufactures vibratory hammers, power packs, and piling and drilling rigs.

Movax develops and manufactures excavator-mounted, automatically controlled piling and foundation equipment.

And Watson & Hillhouse offers piling equipment, including a range of Movax equipment, for hire and for sale.

DevCo said that together, the companies combine a global reach with an international dealer network that could serve as a platform for building a stronger, combined business.
