The return of the ERA Convention

The ERA Convention is the premier event for the European equipment rental industry and brings ‎together more than 320 leading voices from rental companies and suppliers to the industry to ‎network, learn and share.

This year’s event addresses the challenges encountered by the ‎equipment rental industry in attracting people and develops the topics of retention, ‎development, training, diversity and inclusion.‎

This 17th Convention of the European Rental Association is taking place this week, at the MECC in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

For the first time since 2017, the Convention takes place alongside the International Rental ‎Exhibition (IRE), the only exhibition in Europe dedicated only to the rental industry. The APEX ‎exhibition (dedicated to aerial platforms) also takes place in the same premises, so that all ‎attendees to these events can make the most out of their presence in Maastricht. 

On the first night, ERA organised a cultural programme, with a guided tour of Maastricht, followed by a cocktail and canapés at Bold Rooftopbar with spectacular views across the city.

On the following evening, also at the MECC, the traditional European Rental Awards ceremony celebrated the creativity, innovation and excellence of companies and individuals in ‎the equipment rental business. The Convention and the Awards Dinner was moderated by business ‎presenter Maarten Bouwhuis.

International keynote speaker and talent acquisition and recruitment specialist Nicklas Pyrdol will ‎close the Convention.
