Terramac crawler carriers on show at ConExpo

Terramac is to exhibit a range of rubber tracked crawler carriers at trade show ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas later this month.

On its largest space at the event to date, the US-headquartered company will showcase two of its 360° rotating frame units, the RT7R and RT14R, and two straight frame machines, the RT6 and RT9U.

The RT7R and RT14R come with 7 and 14 tonne carrying capacity respectively, and, according to the company can offload materials at an angle or on the go and leave minimial footprint in sensitive terrains.

From its portfolio of straight frame machines, the Terramac RT6 with a debris collection system and RT9U paired with a Versalift 9500 aerial device are the most recent customised machines on offer from Terramac.

The RT6 comes fitted with a skid mount and hooklift to enable alternative bed types and support equipment to be interchanged, while the addition of the aerial device to the RT9U is said to offer improve access and safety while installing and maintaining powerlines.

Matt Slater, vice president, business development for Terramac, said, “This year’s Terramac exhibit is the largest space we have had at a CONEXPO to showcase our crawler carrier models.

“The straight frame and rotating crawler carriers have been put to use in so many different applications. We want attendees to see a few of the many ways a Terramac machine can be outfitted for their specific needs.”

Founded in 2011, Terramac manufacturers and distributes crawler carriers for both sale and rental through its authorised dealers across the US and Canada. The company has been part of the CK Power group of companies following its acquisition in 2021.
