Mark Sichi, 1955-2017.

Mr Sichi, aged 61, died on Saturday, 24 June, as he completed a workout at the gym. He is survived by a daughter, two sons, and five grandchildren.

During his 15-year tenure at Xtreme Manufacturing, Mr Sichi was a key member of the sales team, handling many key accounts. He then moved into a role in telehandler product development, where he provided valuable market knowledge and technical insight into the design of new equipment for both Xtreme and Snorkel.

Mr Sichi also shared his vast experience through training sessions that he conducted at The Academy at Ahern for team members across the Ahern family of companies, as well to customers and dealers. He was well known for his product training rodeo’s, where he would make sure that all trainees got to experience the equipment hands-on.

“Mark touched the lives of many people in our family of companies, as well as in the entire industry. He will be remembered as kind, charismatic and optimistic, and always willing to mentor and support others to deliver the best results possible. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him,” said the company.

A funeral mass took place at noon on Saturday 1 July at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cotati, California. It was followed by a burial and a reception at Mr Sichi’s home.
