Tadano to recruit northern European leader
04 September 2026
Crane and aerial platform manufacturer Tadano is moving to a new UK headquarters close to its current base near Aylesbury and is in the process of recruiting a leader to cover its northern region, comprising the UK, Netherlands and Belgium.
The current head of its UK operation, Lloyd Gee-Nyland, will leave Tadano by the end of this year. Tadano said greater responsibility will be placed on the remaining UK team, supported by the incoming regional leader.
The OEM will move to the new UK location in the final quarter of this year.

“The new 10-year lease agreement secures a long-term base for the business and underlines Tadano’s continued commitment to the UK and Republic of Ireland markets”, said Tadano.
“The transition is being planned to minimize disruption to customers and employees.”
Tadano has 22 staff in the UK and Ireland, working across sales, service, parts and technical functions.
“Customers will continue to work with their established contacts, backed by more than 2,500 Tadano employees across Europe”, said the company.
The manufacturer said the changes in the UK were part of a wider development of its European operations. In the past two years more than €100 million has been invested in its German manufacturing sites in Zweibrücken and Lauf.
A new European spare parts centre in Lauf is planned to be fully operational this autumn, and a repair facility in Zweibrücken has been operating since 2025.
